October 10, 2014

Twitter has filed a lawsuit against the US government for privacy and security breaches. The social media giant says it filed the suit to try and force the government to be more transparent over personal data requests. As the law currently stands, Twitter is unable to reveal certain information about the requests, which the company believes is a violation to the First Amendment of the constitution. Twitter filed the suit against the United States Department of Justice and the FBI in a northern California court on Tuesday.
