Here I come again with yet another mason jar DYI. I do love me some mason jars. Not only are they utilitarian, but they are incredibly versatile and adorable.
These mason jar sippy cups are cute and easy to make. All you need are a few simple tools and a couple of minutes to spare. I love the idea of these for a garden party.
I have been saving the lids from yogurt tubs and such. They’re extremely pliable, so cutting them with scissors is a snap. Adding washi tape to any project adds instant cuteness and you already know about my obsessions with chalk board. Here, I’m using chalkboard contact paper, but I’ve also seen chalk board labels that you can just stick on as well.
After outlining your circles, you want to use your scissors to make the cuts. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to fit the inside of the jar’s ring.
See how the washi tape made these so much better?
Just figure out where you want your straw to go.
If you’re working with chalk board labels, then you might not need the washi tape.
Just add your favorite drink and go!
